UNITY GAME DEVELOPMENT

Course Information
Unity is a real-time 3D content development platform that includes computer and mobile games. It is a game engine with a wide scope of application including architecture, construction and design, cinema and animation, and games for mobile phones for PCs and consoles.

Class Size: <12 students

Module 1: Unity Basics

Explore video game genres, game engines and learn about the basics of Unity interference.

Module 2: 3D level Design

Explore building a 3D world level, each having light, sound, and terrain.

Module 3: Programming video game in C#

Learn what is C# programming language and write scripts in C# to make their own mechanics and interfaces for their games.

Module 4: Animation of an object

Learn how to add animation to the object and the player. Furthermore, they set up a character controller and combine it with the movement animation.

Module 5: Specifics of 2D games. mobile platform

Explore the basic elements of making a 2D game and use what they have learned in previous modules to create a 2D game.

Module 6. Creating a 3D racing game

Get acquainted with the specific features of the racing game genre. They study how game levels are designed for this kind of video game and what mechanics are most often used in them. As a result, the students create a full-fledged racing video game.

Module 7. Creating a 2D role-playing game

Get acquainted with the specific features of the role-playing game (RPG) genre. They study how to program the game cycle of an RPG game. The result is that the students create a full-fledged 2D role-playing game.
